Parent Feedback Feels Good!

Back from Thanksgiving break and we all need a boost to energize us for the sprint to Christmas break. Even before the first students dragged into Advisory at 8:05 am, my spirits were revived.

What awaited me in my school email was a warm and affirming note from a 6th grade parent who wanted to share some of the pictures of her daughter making home-made croissants for our French Feast a couple of weeks ago.

We teachers often don’t feel like our effort to nurture, encourage and inspire our students has an impact.  So when a report to the contrary comes our way, it feels VERY good!  And it inspires me to reciprocate and let parents know when their student enjoys success.
